Today we applied the remaining oak flooring to to tops of the wheel well boxes.
Also, we moved in our first appliance -- a gas stove! Yippee!
Our 20" Magic Chef gas stove. Most gas stoves can be converted to propane (which of course we intend to do).
EDIT 8/14/2006:We had to replace the Magic Chef range because it uses a "glo-bar" to keep the oven gas valve open. The glo-bar draws about 360 watts...which is a bit much in our book! We can't even use a match to light the oven burner. Grrr...
The new stove is a Peerless Premier Range purchased from
The Solar Biz. See photo below.
We were able to use about 97% of the flooring we purchased.
Our new Peerless Premier gas range. No stupid "glo-bar", just piezo ignition for the top burners and oven. Of course we can still use a match to light the top burners & stove if needed. USA-made, and better quality than the Sears model, based on initial observations.
